Pete has repeatedly visited the southern border – both as Governor and as Senator. He has seen firsthand the humanitarian and drug crisis that is costing American lives. He knows the crisis at our southern border will only be solved by real policy change in Congress and from the executive branch. He supports legislation to reform our broken asylum laws and build the wall. He wants to increase federal penalties for fentanyl distributors and stop dangerous sanctuary cities. Pete’s also fighting to give our Border Patrol agents the tools they need to get illegal immigration under control and keep deadly drugs like fentanyl off our streets.
