Ricketts Comments on Biden’s 2024 Budget

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senator Pete Ricketts (R-NE) released the following statement commenting on President Joe Biden’s fiscal year 2024 budget proposal:

“While Americans are still struggling with rising costs of living, President Biden wants to raise taxes on hardworking Americans to fund the same kind of reckless spending spree that landed us in this inflation mess in the first place. As Governor of Nebraska, I knew how essential it was to ensure every taxpayer dollar spent was not only necessary, but also spent efficiently and in a way that benefits all Nebraskans. The Biden budget released today is a completely unserious attempt at addressing our nation’s challenges and Nebraskan’s needs, and I will work with my likeminded colleagues in House and Senate to fight it with everything we have.”
